How our warranty works, what to do if something isn't right, and how the right of withdrawal works if you change your mind.
Every Cabino product comes with a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
A warranty from us or from the manufacturer comes on top of your statutory rights and never limits your right to complain about a defect.
If you find a defect, tell us within a reasonable time after you found it, or should have found it. Your right to complain follows consumer purchase law and isn't limited by this page. Under Norwegian consumer purchase law, the complaint period can be up to five years for goods that are meant to last significantly longer than two years in normal use.
Email contact@cabino.co.uk with your order number and a description of the problem. Photos or other documentation help.
If the product has a defect, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, cancellation of the purchase or compensation, as set out in consumer purchase law.
A return because of a defect is a complaint. It isn't the same as using the right of withdrawal below.
As a consumer buying online, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
The period normally starts the day after you receive the goods.
Give us clear notice within the period. Email contact@cabino.co.uk with your name, your order number and the product you want to return. We'll tell you how the return works.
Return the goods without undue delay and within the deadline set by law. For larger products, contact us first so that transport can be arranged safely.
We refund your payments without undue delay and within the legal deadline, using the same payment method as your purchase unless we agree otherwise. We may hold back the refund until we have the goods back or you have shown that they are on their way.
The right of withdrawal doesn't apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, when the conditions in the law are met. That can include custom-built saunas, annexes and other products made to your own measurements, choice of materials, window or door placement or other specific adaptations. A product that is only made to order isn't excluded by that alone. Once production of a customised product has started, the order normally can't be changed or cancelled unless we have agreed otherwise.
You may examine the goods as much as is needed to find out what they are, how they work and what they are like. If you handle them beyond that and they lose value, we may claim compensation for the loss in value. Please pack returned goods carefully to avoid damage in transport.
If you use your right of withdrawal, you pay the direct cost of returning the goods when this was stated before your purchase and the rules allow it. Saunas and other large products can need pallet transport, a lorry, a crane or other special transport, so returning them can cost far more than an ordinary parcel. Contact us before returning large products so that we can agree how it is done. If goods are returned because of a defect we are responsible for, the necessary return costs are handled under consumer purchase law.
The company behind Cabino is BADSTUNORGE AS. If a dispute arises, we'll first try to solve it together. As a consumer you can also contact the consumer authority in your country for guidance.
