The prize is one outdoor barrel sauna, 2.4 metres long and 2.2 metres in diameter, in spruce with a black shingle roof, delivered fully assembled and fitted with a wood-burning Harvia M3 stove, a backrest, a wooden door with a window and lock, and benches both inside and outside.
Its value is about £6,180, converted from the promoter's ordinary Norwegian list prices at the rate used on this site, and including delivery with a crane lift, which the promoter pays in full.
The sauna is delivered built and complete, with a wood-burning stove set – stove, flue and stones – benches inside and out, a backrest, a wooden door with a window and lock, and a finished roof. Firewood is not included. It is delivered in untreated spruce. Surface treatment – stain or oil – is not part of the prize and is done by the winner.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, for other products or for another model, and cannot be transferred to anyone else before it has been delivered.
Runner-up prizes: in addition, 25 discount vouchers worth £1,000 each are drawn. Each voucher gives £1,000 off the purchase of one sauna from the promoter, is valid for three months from the date of the draw, cannot be exchanged for cash, can be combined with other campaigns and discounts, cannot be exchanged for cash, and is personal to the winner. Everyone who enters is in both draws without doing anything extra. One entrant can win only one prize.
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Buying something gives neither extra entries nor a better chance, and has no bearing on the draw.
Entries open on 19 October 2026 and close on 19 November 2026 at 22:59 GMT. The sauna and the 25 vouchers are drawn at random on 20 November 2026, in the same draw. The sauna is drawn first; the vouchers are then drawn from the remaining entrants.
The draw is made by machine: every entry is numbered, and the winning number is worked out from a figure published at the same time as the draw, so that anyone can repeat the calculation and arrive at the same winner.
Winners are told by e-mail at the address used to enter. The winner of the sauna must reply within 14 days; if they do not, a new winner is drawn in the same way. The vouchers are sent by e-mail and need no reply.
Entrants give their Instagram handle, and may also give their Facebook name. Before the prize is handed over the promoter checks that the winner meets these terms, and that the winner follows the accounts given – @cabinoeu on Instagram, and Cabino on Facebook if the winner took the double entry. If the winner does not follow us at that point, or the name cannot be found, a new winner is drawn.
The winner's first name and county may be published on the promoter's channels. We always ask first before using a photograph or a full name.
Prizes won in a free prize draw are not taxed in the United Kingdom, so a winner resident in the UK pays no tax on the prize itself.
If the winner is resident elsewhere, the rules of that country apply and any tax is the winner's own responsibility. The promoter does not pay the winner's tax.
The promoter pays the whole of the transport, including the crane lift. The winner pays nothing for delivery – no shipping, no surcharge for distance, nothing for lifting equipment.
The sauna comes with a 24-month warranty against manufacturing faults in private use, on the same terms as a purchase. The warranty does not cover misuse, lack of maintenance, incorrect siting or ordinary wear.
The data controller is BADSTUNORGE AS. We store your name, e-mail address, Instagram handle, your Facebook name if you give one, and – if you give them – your phone number and postcode, together with your answers to the two questions in the form, the country the entry came from, your entry code and the time. The Instagram and Facebook names are used only to check that the winner follows us.
The promoter may cancel or change the draw if something outside the promoter's control makes it impossible to run as planned – for example if the prize is damaged. Changes are announced on this page. The promoter is not liable for any loss arising from this.
